Relevance
Our academics are sought-after consultants to business, industry, government, and the professions. They are as comfortable in the contemporary business environment as they are in the classroom. Alongside their consulting and teaching activities, our academics also place a high value on quality research – generating outputs that have global impact in their fields of expertise. When you combine consulting and research with quality teaching, you create a vibrant culture that brings out the best in our students and delivers outstanding results for our clients.
Reputation
UQ Business School's MBA is ranked 81 in the world and 5th in Australia by The Economist. It is the only Queensland business school to be ranked in the world's top 100.
UQ Business School was the first in Australia to earn accreditation from the two most influential accrediting bodies, the US-based AACSB International and the European Foundation for Management Development’s EQUIS.
In 2009 UQ Business School was reaccredited by EQUIS for the maximum term of five years, a strong vote of confidence in our quality standards. Fewer than 130 business schools worldwide carry EQUIS accreditation.
The MBA program is a Masters level general business degree designed to equip graduates with sophisticated skills and knowledge across the business disciplines. It is by nature and tradition a generalist degree. The Accelerated MBA takes just 12 months full-time and is open to all international students. This structured approach allows students to develop the enduring personal and professional relationships that are so much a part of the appeal of the MBA.
